My 2 year LTE contract with a mobile service provider ended in March 2020 - about the time when we had a national lockdown because of Covid-19. I have then decided to take the fibre option from one of the big cellular providers. These guys sent me from pillar to POST with the router, the temporary LTE and getting me up and running. When I contacted Afrihost, I have been assisted telephonically to determine my requirements. They've handled all the admin of cancelling the service which I did not receive from the other service provider and I have received my router on the same day. Afrihost did not dissapoint! It was the first time that I have received such great and quality service from a big brand in South Africa!!! I was able to work from home, with quality high speed internet!!! For me, the key thing with ISPs is availability of support when the connectivity has issues. Afrihost’s support is on point. The fact that we can text on whatsapp makes things much easier, even better than they’re available even after hours (upto 19:30 during the week). The constant and timely updates for network issues helps ease frustrations when internet connection suddenly dies.

I can understand the slow response times as a result of staff working from home during the lock down and systems being redirected, otherwise awesome service delivery from Afrihost. Keep it up, guys!
