Excellent service from Afrifost
Just signed up with them, and had a problem connecting. I used there What’s up chat line and delt with Rethabile who was online with me for almost 3 hours, trying every possible method to resolve the problem, I eventually got connected and able to login to other websites, only unable to acces one site, the afrihost login webpage, which he then logged a call with the relevant department to sort out the problem. Well done Rethabile for the excellent work, and to afrihost for an effective WhatsApp chat line

Afrihost’s WA helpline always replies in seconds or minute or two and nearly always solves the problem. Our fibre connection speed is nearly always what it should be. We’ve been with them years. We also use their fibre package at our holiday flat.
For GOOGLE To TRACK
Two years ago I wrote a 3 star review but things have changed since then. When I signed up in 2019, the LTE connectivity was excellent even during loadshedding and stayed that way for a little over a year. Then there was an MTN network outage in January 2021, and after that I had almost zero connectivity during long blackouts, which impacted my productivity. That's when I wrote the 3-star review.
I don't know what they did to solve the problem, but around January 2022 the connectivity was as good as it was during loadshedding when I first signed up.
After about two years they rewarded my loyalty to them by doubling my monthly data allocation with ZERO price increase, and my router was paid off as well so my monthly instalment actually decreased a little bit.
We've been through a pandemic and we're in the midst of the worst economic crisis and the most rapid and frequent inflation increases I've ever had the misfortune of living through, but I've never had to worry about Afrihost.
I'm a "difficult" customer, but I had to change my review because as critical as I am of unstable corporates and their non-existent customer service, I'm also quick to applaud business excellence.
I have no idea what they're doing or what kind of system they've got in place, but all I can say is that they're doing it right. They're the one brand I'll stay loyal to no matter the cost.
