I promised and update and here it is (albeit a few years late :-)). I've had a great experience with Afrihost. I think they provide value for your money and the speeds are good! Recently signed up for Afrihost fibre to the home (pure fiber 10/10) through vumatel. Very easy setup and installation. I collected the router and set it up myself at home with help via WhatsApp. Friendly and helpful staff on the WhatsApp helpline. Need to test speed once all my devices are up and running. But so far so good! Long may it last. My only issue and the reason for the 3 star rating and not 5 stars is that I had to follow-up on every step from confirming they had the right info with vumatel to my router being ready for collection. These are simple things to keep a client updated about. I shouldn't have to call the helpline for this. I will update my review once I have tested the speed.

Key to our success was a cool head and positive interaction from our side. The team at Afrihost were great. Lesson learnt no amount of yelling will make the process move any faster, the process moves at the correct pace we need to move with it. Remember to ask loads of questions they answer all of them. Loads of step by step pictures also help. I am a satisfied customer. Can't say thank you enough.

Afrihost Client services is exceptional and so far the staff members I have interacted with from the beginning of my subscription (Nkosinathi, Samantha, Rhudzani, Lerato, Michaela etc), have given first class services. Had a bit of a glitch with my subscription cancellation error, and they fix3d my issue with deligence. Their roaming capacity is fast and they have packages to suit any budget for the masses.
