Go live promise.
- Single Domain Limit: The Go Live promise is limited to one domain per month per customer.
- Complete Content Requirement: The Go Live promise will be honoured on the condition that all required content has been provided to Afridesign at the start of the build, with no subsequent changes to the content or additional pages added to the website.
- Exclusions: The Go Live promise timeline excludes weekends and public holidays.
- Content Format: All provided content must be in the specified format and ready for use. Delays caused by content revisions, formatting issues, or incomplete submissions may i mpact the Go Live timeline.
- Approval Process: Any necessary approvals must be provided promptly. Delays in approvals may result in adjustments to the Go Live timeline.
- Technical Constraints: The Go Live promise is subject to technical constraints and dependencies outside Afridesign’s control, such as third-party integrations and hosting i ssues.
- Client Communication: Clients must maintain timely communication with Afridesign during the build process. Lack of response or delayed feedback may affect the Go Live timeline.
- Package Specifics: The Go Live timeline may vary based on the chosen package. Ensure you review the specific timeline associated with your package.
Maintenance hours.
- No Carryover: Maintenance hours do not carry over from month to month. Unused hours will expire at the end of each month.
- Exceeding Hours: If you exceed your allocated maintenance hours within a given month, you will need to purchase additional hours or wait until the next month for further work to be completed.
- Scheduling and Availability: Maintenance hours must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. We recommend sending your maintenance tasks well in advance to ensure timely completion.
- Non-Transferable: Maintenance hours are non-transferable and may only be used by the original account holder for the specified website.
- Scope of Work: Maintenance hours cover routine updates, bug fixes, and minor content changes. Significant modifications or new feature requests may require additional hours or a separate project agreement.
- Usage Monitoring: Afridesign reserves the right to monitor the usage of maintenance hours to ensure fair use. Any misuse may result in the forfeiture of remaining hours for that month.
- Fair Use Policy: Maintenance hours are intended for maintaining and improving the quality of your website. They should not be used for unrelated tasks or external projects.
- Your website will be live in 4-6 days.
- Your e-commerce website will be up and running within 4 to 6 days of receipt of your website content - excl. weekends and public holidays.
- No contracts. No paperwork.
- All packages are month to month, you can change your mind at any time and if youdon't love us you can leave whenever you want.
- Ongoing maintenance.
- Updates or changes are included as part of your package. Simply get in touch with us and the Afridesign team will make it happen.

Once all the necessary content is submitted, the talented Afridesign team will begin building your website from the ground up onto our Content Management Framework.
You'll receive instructions on how to preview the website once the build is complete.
If you want any changes or modifications, you can let Afridesign know before your website goes live.
When you're satisfied with the content, structure, and design of your website, you’ll give written confirmation to publish it.
Once your website is live, any future changes or requests will be covered under the maintenance agreement included in the Afridesign eCom Package.

What are the limitations of my Afridesign eCommerce package?

While we strive to provide flexibility in designing your website, there are some limitations when it comes to complete control and freedom over the structure and layout. We use a carefully crafted template and software to ensure a solid foundation for your website. Within these boundaries our talented team will do their best to accommodate your customisation requests and bring your vision to life.
Widget functionality:
Our websites come equipped with powerful widgets that add functionality and enhance the user experience. These widgets offer a wide range of features, but customization beyond the capabilities of these widgets may not be possible. However, rest assured that our team is well-versed in maximising the potential of these widgets, and we'll work closely with you to ensure your website has the desired functionality.
How are products managed and uploaded to the website?
You provide the product details, and our team will upload and manage them as part of the monthly maintenance included in your package.
Can I track inventory through the e-commerce platform?
Yes, our e-commerce solutions include basic inventory management features, allowing you to track stock levels and manage product availability directly through your website.
What payment gateways and payment options does the platform support?
We integrate popular payment gateways such as Payfast, Yoco, PayPal and Stripe, depending on your specific needs and target market. EFT and Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options are also available.
What delivery options does the platform offer?

This means that while you can sign up for multiple domains, we will complete one website build per month. Once a website is completed, we will start on the next active signup the following month.
If I cancel my subscription, do I still keep my website?
There are a couple of options for your website if you decide to cancel your subscription at Afridesign. Here's what you need to know regarding your options and some important details:
Website transfer:
If you decide to cancel your Afridesign Package, it's important to note that you won't be able to take your website with you to another hosting company. Our websites are built on a specialised Content Management System (CMS) that is specifically designed to work seamlessly on Afrihost servers. This ensures optimal performance and security for your website. However, if you choose to cancel, your website will no longer be accessible or transferable.
Downgrading services:
In the event that you choose to downgrade to a standard Afrihost hosting package, please be aware that Afridesign will no longer provide services related to the upkeep of your website. This means you'll lose access to the value-added features, bonuses and benefits that come with the Afridesign eCom packages.
Cancellation notice:
If you decide to cancel, please note we do require a full calendar month's notice. This allows us to process your cancellation effectively.
Cancellation and Right to Reserve Services:
Should you cancel after your website has been created or downgrade your package at any point, Afridesign reserves the right to refuse future website services if you sign up a new domain on one of our packages. This policy ensures fair use and service availability for all clients.
