Prompt service when I complained about slow response. Agent assisted with step-by-step guidance to pinpoint the problem, which was with the router. The agent has also linked their email address to the work ticket to be able to keep an eye on progress, as they have understood the important of us getting a new router asap. First day working from home my router started giving problems, as fate would have it. Due to loadshedding and UPS usage I experienced some difficulty with my connectivity. I don't have the words to describe what the problem was cause I know next to nothing about IT, but with the help of Afrihost's WhatsApp helpline and the awesome helper assigned to me (they have real people online helping you over WhatsApp, not just bots), I was able to sort it out in a jiffy. I have had great service from the Afrihost walk-in centre in Rivonia Road. My experience was only with LTE and the staff were very helpful and courteous. I am streaming ('Teeveeing' - live UK TV) and using movie streaming apps. I started using an older ZTE router but soon changed to the recommended TP-Link unit. I also started off with the 20mbps package but again it was smoothly increased this to 50mbps. I have now found 3 other local residents who are paying R699pm for speeds they don't need and who would also like to save R400pm using LTE. The attitude of fibre-only companies who insist that they cannot reduce speed and cost for existing fibre users, will bite them in the backside as long as alternatives are around.

This morning it was not working and I sent a WhatsApp to Afrihost, a agent messaged me almost immediately and after a few.simple.questions and guidance, he got my router working again...so efficient and helpful...
